Samsung Galaxy S4 - Specs, facts and What we actually missed!

What do you think was special about the past 14th March? Nothing might be the general answer but something will strike in the heads of technofreaks. Samsung launched another advanced phone in the galaxy s series. This new smartphone is named Samsung Galaxy s4 which is believed to be better than Apple's iPhone 5! but the mystery is yet to unveiled.

The official launch was in New York, where all its features were shown. Some features are quite awesome if you haven't already imagined such a thing. Its sale will start in UK from 26th of April and later will be slowly available in other 150 or more countries through different mobile operators.

The new launch was supposed to bring joy and freshness in the Samsung camp and it looks like they were successful. Already critics all over the world have started to post their views saying that in someway or the other users will certainly like S4 more than iPhone5.

Samsung says that they are expecting an average sale of 10 million per month but there can only be guess work since its not yet available in the market.

One of the most highlighted feature of this new smartphone is the ability to control the screen without even touching it. "Smart pause" stops the video the moment you look away from the screen. Similar to that "Smart scroll" is a feature allows the user to browse through anything like emails to files without even touching the screen.

Talking about the screen, we forgot to mention that the screen size is 5 Inch (12.7 cm) and that is the main advantage over apple's iPhone. It has been previously said that the Asian market of users prefer bigger screen.

The phone has so many sensors that you can accept a call or change music track with the wave of a hand (Gesture Control). It has two cameras and video recording can be done from both the cameras at the same time. Starring features are 13 Megapixel rear camera and 2 Megapixel front camera with the ability to make a story album side by side automatically.

Features have just started as the phone has a built in translator which can translate voice and text, and also measure temperature and humidity by itself. From accessibility point of view the smartphone has special features. Allows users to activate commands via voice control and even monitors the health of the user while driving.

The phone has multitasking capabilities like its brother Galaxy Note 2. Although many of these functions have been there for a very long time but the small changes are the ones that matter and make the object perfect. The screen has resolution of 441 pixels per Inch and weighs 130g. The smartphone is 7.9mm thick which is not much.

Experts say that this phone is the biggest handset of the year, but the critics beg to differ and they say that soon other rival companies will launch their own products that might overshadow this device.

Oh! we forgot the most important part of the phone -- The SGS4 features whooping 1.9Ghz quad-core processor or a 1.6 octa-core processor under the hood as well as 2GB of RAM.

They say that this gadget is more like a small update to the earlier version and this was the same case as that with the apple iPhone 5 release. Whatever they say but the punch line is that the phone is nothing more than a great combination of brains and beauty packed and marketed by Samsung.
