Fake Image of samsung Galaxy S4, posted on Picasa
Samsung is working on the new project codenamed "project J", most of us will have no clue what they are doing with the random name. According to SamMobile, the Korean company is working on the next generation Galaxy phone - Samsung Galaxy S 4. The Samsung Altius will come in 2 colours black and white.
Samsung is planning to ship the Altius starting from week 16, which simply means April 15. We expect Samsung to hold an unpacked event at MWC or sometime in March. Samsung could hold one of its mobile unpacked events in London, New York or even Korea.
The name of the next big thing! is still under the bizarre speculations - the rumors are that Samsung is going to ditch the succeeding numeric value on their next galaxy device, because according to Korean Superstition the number 4 breeds bad luck.
Perhaps the move from model number GT-I9300 (Galaxy S3) to GT-I9500, conveniently skipping GT-I9400, supports this line of thought, but it's hard to imagine Samsung launching this year's flagship model without staying true to the already established naming scheme.
According to Asia Economy, Samsung has scheduled a special Mobile Unpacked event at some point in March right on Apple's home turf, although Samsung is yet to confirm the media event.
The rumour about the Galaxy S IV having wireless charging is real! Samsung will sell a separate dock and a back cover with wireless charging capabilities for the device.
The Galaxy S4 is rumored to sport a 4.99-inch Full HD AMOLED touchscreen display, an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, 2600mAh Battery, 13-megapixel camera and Jelly Bean right out of the box. However, these specs are not confirmed at this time either.
Another Samsung GS4 leaked image suggests that Samsung is going to ditch the home button on the device making ti little more taller.
Details about Samsung's next flagship device which are 100% confirmed are listed below.
Code Name: Altius
Model Number: GT-I9500

Battery Capacity: 2600 mAh
Special: Wireless Charging Kit
