Currently, the most trendy mobile gadgets are Tablets and smartphones, most of them are powered by Android. Windows, blackberry and iOS are on the other side of the graph. But, why does girls prefer Tablets or other large display mobile gadgets which are only bigger and better from the outside and comes nowhere close to the powerful and multitasking smartphones.
The basic thought behind all this might be different for individual person, but the common criteria - which is behind the determination and setback of the thought of owning the gadgets can be narrowed down to some short hypothesis. Females has different needs than males in real life and it emplies on the gadget selections too.
Sometimes it is only due to the lack of knowledge about the gadgets and common social assumptions leads them to the wrong selction. Here are some of common reasons why Girls go for tablets or other large display gadgets over powerful phones.

1. Bigger is Better : The world's average thought about the electronic gadget used to be -- the bigger the gadget is, better it will perform. Time and knowledge about the gadgets and how they actually works, made these wrong assumptions vanish, but it got stuck to bunch of peoples who still follows this thinking which used to be mainstream. In today's Nano Tech world, the size doesn't mean everything - The physically smaller gadget can easily beat the bigger gadgets which are less powerful.
2. Lack of knowledge : The lack of knowledge performs a vital role which determines the tablets or other large display gadgets as a first choice. The gadgets doesn't work with the physical identity they got, their performance actually depends on the hardware which are rigged inside.
3. Copying others (Going with the social trend) : Females has always been known as mainstream social trend follower. They follow up with the latest common social trends that is followed by others around their locality.
4. Showing off (Maintaining the public standard) : Some girls prefer to show off their gadgets to others and thinks that smaller mobiles are too mainstream - so, the powerful and more capable mobile gadgets are ignored to stick with something which they think is more superior.
5. Multimedia Hotspot: Usually females use their mobile gadgets as a multimedia hotspot (reading books, watching movies, chatting or browsing websites) -- and tablets fits right into this category. Bigger displays are better for multimedia needs and it actually makes it easier for you to perform these actions on physically large gadgets.
