Will Demonoid ever come back online? New signs suggests something!

demonoidDemonoid was shutdown by the unexpected massive DDoS attack last July and site server in Ukraine was pulled offline. Local authorities explained that Interpol asked them to take action as part of an investigation into the site's alleged owners in Mexico.

The website is offline ever since and there has been no official news from the site admin or owner. Several events suggested that the website is trying to strive back alive but the speculations turned down after the sudden inactivity - leaving us with the infinite thoughts and assumptions.

Last year, On November - we noticed some activity on demonoids tracker and it was once again tracking the torrents it is used to monitor. The comeback of the tracker suggested that the website is going to follow, and it will be online sooner or later.

But, after few days - the trackers were offline again. Leaving us dissappointed and waiting for our beloved website till the eternity. No sign or notice of getting back again.

We didn't received any new update about the website and what site owner (or admin) is planning to do about it. Until recently, when the demonoid.me domain started redirecting the traffic to the new domain name - demonoid.hk.

The new Hong Kong domain was registered about a month ago and is currently displaying a "403 Forbidden" HTTP status code. The new site appears to be hosted in Hong Kong as well, where we saw the Demonoid tracker return earlier.

While there's absolutely no guarantee that Demonoid will return in the near future the recent developments clearly show that something is going on behind the scenes. The restart of the tracker at a new hosting company, paired with the new domain showing some response, offers hope to those who miss Demonoid dearly.
